Job Summary

We are looking for a knowledgeable Product Manager/Product Owner to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in insurance and familiarity with the Secotra platform to drive product development and ensure that our offerings meet market needs. Your insights will be crucial in shaping our product strategy as we roll out innovative solutions in the insurance sector. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product vision, gather requirements, and ensure successful delivery of products that align with customer needs and business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and roadmap.
• Gather and prioritize product requirements based on market research and customer feedback.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure successful product delivery.
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of product performance metrics.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align on product goals and timelines.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product strategy.
• Lead product discovery sessions to identify user needs and validate ideas.
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized according to business value and customer impact.
• Coordinate with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
• Monitor product performance post-launch and iterate based on user feedback and analytics.

Basic Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, particularly in Specialty lines.
• Familiarity with the Secotra platform is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed product decisions.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools for product management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in a startup environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the insurance sector.
• Experience with product management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and user-centered design processes.
• Understanding of data analytics tools to measure product success.
