Great career if you don't mind practically living at work.

Ford Motor company provides an amazing benefit package as well as pay. Top out pay at Michigan assembly is $32. Not bad for a job that doesn't require a degree. Especially when you consider all the overtime you will be working because they work you like a dog as long as they have the parts to keep it moving.

Good work life balance and job security, but very average pay

Great work life balance. Usually no need to worry about job security, unless you mess up real bad. Slow career growth and slow processes. Salary is very average, nothing to write home about.

Horrible Management

It's just a faced paced assembly line. They expect too much from new employeees. If you stop the line for any reason the supervisors just get onto you instead of trying to help you.

Overall good company with security in the field

God company obviously a powerhouse in the industry depending where you are at on the job totem pole you might be of importance and they recognize this, or just an entry level person who is just a number. Overall ford will always be in business you you will always have a job and security. Every work place has it's ups and downs alot of this is going to depend on your dealership specifically

Great place to work

I started at Ford as a contractor in 2019 at PDC and it was wonderful the environment is very encouraging and welcoming to new employees. My management team was very understanding if any issues arose and were quick to help. I would recommend Ford to anyone.

Bad bonus but good work life balance.If you are working as an employee, it’s a great place to work but as an agency it’s under paid and job security is not there

Flexible management

Management is flexible with hours when able, to an extent. Fair pay, decent workload. Would recommend to anyone needing a steady job, basically a 9-5 6 days of the week,

Good place to plan a future

Great place to grow and learn. You won't find a better place to be able to get in, learn a lot and plant some roots. I've asked around and the retirement plan is about as good as you will find anywhere.

Good place, worked with some good people. The people I worked with made the job. Management can sometimes be old school and not able to motivate employees to buy into the operation.

Good company, but changing with new management

I really enjoyed my time at Ford, however there has been significant changes occurring within the company as a result of new upper management. This has ultimately caused an uncertain environment for engineers on the traditional side of the automotive business. If you are able to retain job the people and compensation are above average.

Morale is terrible

The turnover is crazy because the jobs just aren’t worth the wear and tear over time anymore. The union sold the workers out and you can find comparable wages elsewhere.

Overall I enjoyed my time there

Fun place to work if you ha e a great work ethic. Different tasks everyday kept it interesting as well. I also worked with some pretty talented teams.

Ford Motor Company is a GREAT company to work for! Although a lot of satisfaction is derived from the direct management philosophies to which you are exposed, I believe the company is working very hard to develop a good culture, respect work-life balance, and offer fair compensation.
